"I think Sophii Negus will be very popular at Glastonbury Festival"
- Michael Eavis, Glastonbury Festival Founder
In April 2012 Sophii joined 16 other finalists in the Weston-super-Mare Playhouse Theatre. The show was judged by Steve Yabsley from BBC Radio Bristol, Tony Staveacre from BBC Radio 4, singer Sara Kempe and Glastonbury Festival founder Michael Eavis. The winner took away a prize, which was to perform at Glastonbury Festival 2013. After winning the competition Sophii commented “It’s an indescribable feeling to win the competition and the ultimate prize of performing live at Glastonbury Festival 2013” In December 2014, Sophii released her first EP 'Blue Eyes' which is available to download via SoundCloud.
Since then, Sophii's been regularly playing many festivals and gigs across the country, as well as playing at many corporate events including the launch of the new MINI Clubman and Thatchers Haze Sessions - not to forget busy summer full of weddings! Sophii is still gigging regularly and currently releasing a single every few months, all of which are available to stream/download on iTunes/Spotify etc.
